removing private reg

Got a car that is a total wreck i purchased it purley for the reg plate but car is worth few hunderd quid so just going to scrap it .

How do i go about taking the private plate of the car

car is taxed and mot and insured if that makes any difference

If you haven't got access to a screwdriver go back to Purley and ask the person you bought it off if you can borrow theirs

If I remember rightly, the car must be taxed and insured etc, as the DVLA will need to issue the vehicle with a replacement registration which they won't do if any of the aforementioned are not in place.
