Having read the topic on brand loyalty, I was amazed at how many cars some people have owned. In the 29 years I've been driving I've had 8 cars - average 3.6 years per car.

Who has the lowest/highest?

A year and a half per car, though I've had a couple for only a few weeks each!

Slowed down a bit now (had current cars c18 months). Early years, I had cars for as little as a number of weeks.....30+ cars by my mid 20s.

Worked as a salesman for five years with one particular company and their policy was to change cars at 10,000. I averaged between 90 and 105,000 miles a year so that'd be err umm ahh quite a few. All the same, Vectras. But different colours. My kids used to have a bet as to what colour the next one would be. Light metallic pink was the least popular. BTW normal fortnightly sales trip would be ferry Sunday to The Hague, Monday morning meeting in Basle, Tues Milan, Wed Luxembourg, Thurs back to UK and Friday Chester. Knackering to say the least
