What to do with a perfectly good Omega nobody wants?
Discussion
I have a 2001 Omega CD 2.6 V6 Auto. It's up for sale but I've not had a call.
So it has got me thinking. What can I do to get rid of the car but enjoy myself at the same time? I've not got the time to turn it into a track toy and I don't want to spend a penny on it but its mechanics are in great order and has 4 new tyres on it so distance won't be a problem. I can take a few days off work but I need it to be out of the way by the middle of July (don't want to insure it for another year.)
So any suggestions?

Watchman]Advertise that you'll give it away free to the most deserving cause. Applications to be submitted before [insert date said:

Publish applications on PH.
Like that idea. Publish applications on PH.
But it would need to be a good cause, wouldn't want to give it away and then get it pulled to pieces. I'll mull that one over.stumpage said:

Ebay, 5 or 7 day auction with no reserve and a 1p start, I've done it a few times with cars that have basically owed me nothing and its suprising what they go for, just insist on a non return deposit straight away at the auctions end to avoid the time wasters. try www.omegaowners.com , I've been on the forum for years and recently sold my 2001 Omega 3.0 Elite with 183k miles on the clock to one of the members. I had 3 people interested within a week of posting it up.

Remove all the interior bar the drivers seat and go and hoon it on a drift day.
I would be suprised if it could drift! I think it only has about 150hp and that combined with an auto box would need some seriously lairy driving to get the car into any sustained drift.I have to admit I am not a fan of these but the e-bay idea seems the best, unless of course you are happy to just give it away to some good cause.
