Consistantly Unstable Rear Pull to One Side Under Braking

I have recently bought a low mileage (60k) 52 plate Corolla T Sport. It was fitted with new tyres, discs, and pads, by the Toyota dealer I bought the car from, and given 12 months MOT. They've told me the braking force at each wheel is within tolerance, and passed the MOT no problems.
Under light braking, the car stops in a perfectly straight line.
Under heavier braking, the car pulls to the left, but this feels as though the rear of the car is turning right, rather than the front turning left (if you see what I mean!).
It is most noticeable when say a car pulls in front of you on a motorway and you have to brake quite sharply from 75mph-ish down to 50.
If you get into very hard ABS braking, the car appears to be more stable and stop straighter.
I've had the car up on stands, and nothing obvious is broken!
Any ideas as to what it could be?

Sticking calliper, get it rebuilt.
what he said.Under light braking you are probably hardly using the rears, under heavy then it will be really noticable either one caliper is not working at all or the inside/outside piston in the caliper is stuck on one side.
easy job, depending on car it may be easier/cheaper to get a new caliper.
