Replacement tax disc, can it be ordered online?

I've tipped the house upside down looking for the tax disc for my supermoto and cant find it anywhere. Problem is, it was renewed at the start of february. Dvla shows it as being taxed and i have it on my statement that it was paid for but i dont have the original and now i think about it, i'm not sure i ever actually received the bugger.

Anyway, that aside a reprint isnt much is it? I've had a look on dvlas site but it only explains how to do this at the post office. Does anyone know if it can actually be ordered online as well?

Errr... I haven't had a tax disc displayed for about a year now, it's never been a problem since everything is electronically controlled.

I'm sure the law states you must display it? Fair enough an ANPR camera won't flag you but a passing copper or traffic warden could easily have something to say.

Never happened, my car is parked on busy street in London, policed by proper traffic wardens

Looks like i have to go in and do it at a post office. God i hate those places.

Doesn't matter if its never happened its still an offence to not display the disc, i'll agree its a bit achaeic these days with it all being electronically done.
