Looking at getting a new set of tyres.
Looking to spend £50 a corner, Parada Spec 2's look good, but can anyone recommend anything else?
Cheers

Nice I'll give them a look. How are they in the wet?

I can't recommend a tyre but I can highly recommend these people http://www.tyretraders.com/ I used them for the first time last week because they were £12 a tyre cheaper than the usual competitors for the particular tyre of my choice.. I ordered four tyres on Thursday morning & they turned up on Friday morning.

Toyo T1Rs, or whatever the replacement is, fit the bill.

Do you need to have 195 or would you be able to fit 205/50/15? If you could it'll open more options for you.

You used to be able to get them for £25 each in this size

We like Vredestein Quatrac 3 although they're a bit more than your budget. You haven't really said what characteristics are important to you.

Because they are rubbish. Soft sidewalls. No grip in the wet. Even worse in cold conditions. But a very good price.

TVR boys love them. I love mine.

I have heard they are not as good on heavy cars though.

Many MX5 drivers have moved to Rainsport 2s for this reason (195/50 15 is OE size so they buy a lot of them as a community!)

They are great, got them on my MR-S very progressive, car slides beautifully, they don't overheat on track but they don't actually offer huge grip though if that's what you are after, they are no R888 for example. Overall probably my favorite tyre the RS2.
