I managed to break the glass in my wing mirror last night so while I await the new part, is anybody aware of any products e.g. mirrored plastic that I could cut to size myself and insert into the mirror housing to use until the new part arrives?

Three are loads of corrctly sized replacement stick on mirrors available at all motor factors, even if there isn't a specific one for your car one will fit? reflective plastic is CR@P !!

They don't do a generic cut to fit one, but they do have a very wide range of fitted glass for many cars so odds are you can find one at least near enough to fit and do the job while you wait. About eight quid.

Your local motor factors stock a wide variety of the stick on variants for around £5.

Assuming it to be the 207 cabriolet that your username is linked to, i'm sure they'll keep one in stock as it should be the same as the standard variant.

My name may be linked to a 207 cabriolet but I've never owned one, thanks very much...

The mirror is actually on a motorbike and unfortunately Halfords or similar doesn't stock replacement glass as the glass for this mirror cannot be replaced.

Damn right it is. My wife put some over the broken mirror in her Hyundai coupe (after main dealer twice ordered a part that didn't fit her car), and it was easier to see using the broken mirror then the blurred, wobbly image that the plastic crap gives.

Is it because you're three foot tall then?

Or have a small dick?
