I fancy a change, but I don't want to spend any more on top of what I get for mine...

Less if fine as long as it fits my criteria.

I have a 2005/55 BMW 120d SE 5-door automatic.

This isn't my car, but looks exactly like this;

It has the lighting pack, leather seats, front and rear PDC, dual zone climate control, auto gearbox, 90k miles, full BMW service history, 1 owner from new, never wanted for anything. Turbo replaced with a new unit and a full overhaul of fluids and filters last month at a cost of £1,500, serviced at the same time.

It's spotless, really does look as good as new IMO, couple of stone chips on the bonnet which is par for the course with a 90k motorway mile muncher but other than that it's a really good car.

I was thinking of pitching it at £6.5k? Parkers has it on £7,330 based on average mileage of 70,000 but without allowing for extras.

Second part of my question; where do I go next?

I had a lovely straight-6 roadster before and I'm suffering from convertible envy.

At the same time I'm doing a lot of miles and I always said to myself I'd never go convertible diesel but needs must?

I wish they were in budget, always had a soft spot for them.

I'd go 320Cd Conv if I could find one in budget.

The other one was something bigger, you're looking bottom of the E60 range with that money.

I love these... http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3938059.htm

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3938281.htm - £5,350 - I might make some money back.

Although in the back of my mind I'm thinking what if I'm just swapping a minter for something else due a turbo?

56k miles and one retired owner from new, garaged etc. Looks brilliant.

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3419372.htm - hmm.

Edit http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3906921.htm - nice.

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3926702.htm - this doesn't inspire confidence in the value of mine. I do love the look of the M Sport, really transforms the 1 series. I bet that goes well. Could be tempted.
