Hello wavey

Trying to decide on what to do next, it is either -

A) Sell Current car, use funds to buy a shed commuter and a fun car cool

B) Keep current car shoot

I desperately want to do A, but i don't know whether its possible with my available funds

I am currently driving a 2003 Mondeo TDCI for the commute - 50 Miles each way, 49.8 of them on m27.

My first question to the masses is what can i get for my current car?

Info
2003 TDCI Zetec 5 Speed 130bhp
62000 Miles (Rapidly rising)
3 owners from new
Ford Service History for first 7 years,
I bought it last year through a friend who works in the body/paint department of my local Ford Dealer.
Facelift bumpers? This was pointed out to me by a fellow car geek who said that he never seen the bumpers or my rear lights on a 2003. Can anyone confirm as i don't know when the face-lift came about, if ever?
Fresh MOT, Tax till Oct

A couple of pics....

Whatever i can sell it for will be my available funds for my new car's

Next question for everyone, what do i get next?

Shed needs to be -
Cheap, reliable, comfy, and economical. I am doing over 600 miles a week at present so its got to be another diseasel. That's it i couldn't care less what it looks like as all its needed for is to sit on the motorway all week. I also have access to veg-oil through a family members restaurant, so something that could handle the veg would be ideal!
>£1000

Fun car needs to be -
Fun, RWD preferably, Cheap to insure (This car will be for weekend use only so any recommendations on who and where to insure would be great as i am only 21)
short list so far - MX5, MR2, 924?
£1000-£1500

Any suggestions or experience will be much appreciated!
