Recommend me an estate

Been looking for a while to replace my current Focus ST with an estate to lug around the wife, kids & dog.
The initial choices have been:
B7 RS4 Avant - must be a personal purchase due to high initial RRP & CO2 make it uneconomical to run as a company vehicle
E90 335i Touring - about 1yr old with approx 5k miles. Would make a good company car but Auto box only
Am I missing any obvious rivals?? I want something good quality and enoyable. I only do about 12k miles a year so fuel costs not too important.
