Going to look at this shortly...

http://www.wigansportsandprestige.co.uk/bmw-330i-c...

Fairly bullet proof I expect and this one is lower than average mileage.

What do I need to look for when I head over?

I've got a 90k 2005 120d at present and the deal is a straight swap, I don't want this thing to immediately become ruinous for me.

Only thing I can think of is bushes, check all as they are quite heavy cars.

Regular oil changes, gearbox may be a bit hard to get into first once cold, but should be fine when warmed up. Rear springs have a tendency to snap.

I thinks thats about as far as I know with these cars, I serviced a friends one last week good cars.

That's a fairly cheap fix so more than happy with that.

Trying to get it over to my brothers garage but he's not keen to let me borrow it for a couple of hours to have it inspected, is that normal? I offered to give him a deposit, leave my car with him, and my word that I'd complete if the inspection was sound.

It appears to be one of the cheapest out there.

Also, he's giving me £6k trade in for a car that BMW offered me £4.5 for 3 months ago.

I'm looking at cost to change which is £0 as it stands. As long as it's OK then I'm happy.
