Following on from my other thread I need to order a new clutch for my 106 GTi.

I've been looking for Valeo, but have found Sachs on Euro Car Parts cheaper, and I should be able to get a discount code.

Before I order, Sachs is a decent make isn't it? I'm sure I've heard it before.

Does anyone have a discount code I can use for ECP too while we're at it?

Yes, Sachs is a decent make. Hydraulic stuff, dampers, clutches etc.

And ECP discount codes are usually for friction products, unless they're doing a bank hoiday offer.

Sachs is what Renaultsport used in the Clio Trophy for one...

Sachs is owned by ZF, isn't it? I think Peugeot still use Sachs as OE dampers supplier, and most of their motors are good handlers.
