'R' reg Vitara and 'X reg Swift... need a cat for MOT?
Discussion
Both these cars of mine use a very a similar Single point injection setup through a carb looking thing.
i was just wondering though.. with the age of them, do they need a cat to pass the MOT? and if i were to remove all the injection and convert to carbs would it still be able to pass the MOT emmissions ?

aww.. i was hopeful that wasnt the case..
i know that the s13 200sx can remove the cat and still pass the mot.
guess ill have to get a de-cat pipe and replace it every year. stop it rusting any more as i dont realy fancy spending £000's on replacing an exhaust restriction i dont want.
thanks for your help tho
