Me and a mate found this blocking our way through a byway recently. He though it was a Berlingo, I think its a Pug Expert. Can anyone clarify?

Pug Expert / Citroen Dispatch. Hateful thing I used to drive from time to time! Not that this is the one, I didn't set fire to it...

Spelling edit.

I'm no expert, but I'd say that this van probably won't run anymore?

Correct on the three makes it could be.

Why "2004+" ? By that do you mean post or pre 2004?

That body shape was round from ~1997 but don't know when canned - 2008?

I meant that it was post 2004.

You are correct that it was produced well before 2004, but they (Fiat/Citroen/Pug) facelifted the Scudo in 2004 and added new lights among other subtle changes. As you can see the bonnet has a slight bump to house the new grill and lights. Another way you can tell is that on the pre facelift example you have the indicators on the front wing and the housing for the lights are bigger.

Pre 2004

You know too much about a van with the worst gear box in the history of bad gearboxes wink

Ours could be put in 3rd and the lever moved through quite a large figure of 8 with no effect there was that much play in it.

It was like stirring porridge with a pipe cleaner!

My memory of ours was horrific wind noise from the side doors - which it randomly had two of.
