For sale is my 106 GTi something
sell because i've lost my job owing to being a bit thick and i've got no money to do all the work that needs doing.

As you can see in the picture I have had a lot of work done, including painting the wheels, purchased new brakes but couldn't be bothered to put them on the car before sale, and I had a new timing belt and water pump done not that long ago. Its been lowered by 40 mm and has a k & n filter on it...

Also has a 4.2.1 manifold and a stainless steel exhaust which is illegal so i've kept the old one so it will pass its mot.

Has no tax but i've got receipt documenting having work done..
(I think that's what they say, but I can't actually read)

Anything else you want to know, telephone me.

Sounds like a good buy

Dear Sirs.

I'm afraid I have to offer my Peugeot 106 GTi for sale due to the unfortunate loss of my employment.

Sadly, I do not have the required liquidity to carry out the much-needed maintenance to the bodywork. The wheels have been sprayed and whilst I have purchased new brakes, I have not yet found the time to fit them. A new bonnet has recently been fitted, along with a new timing belt and water pump.

The car has been lowered by 40mm and fitted with a K&N filter and a 4-2-1 manifold with stainless exhaust, I believe the term on the street for these mods is 'phat'. That said, i'm not sure on the legality of the modifications, so I will supply the original parts in case it fails it's next MOT.

I'm afraid there is no tax, but if you'd like to hear more, please call me.

PS under no circumstances take this to indicate that the vehicle may have been involved in a minor shunt which has been repaired without use of insurance?!?!!?

Socket sets, drill bits, strewn across the garden too. Looks like he's just screwed it together for the photo shoot.

8/10. Much improvement.

Mistakes: "Mods" -> modifications
"i'm" -> I'm I am
"sure on" -> sure of
"in case it fails" -> in case of it failing, or (better) -> should it fail

HTH

If you're gonna play like that, you missed the use of "it's" for a possessive tongue out
