Which would you buy? Brooke Double R, CSR260 or Atom 3?

Thoughts?

I'd take the CSR260 over the Atom, but I've not had the chance to drive the Double R.

Purely for the fact that the CSR was more forgiving than the Atom - so a better driver might get more out of the Atom than I could (without thinking I was going to kill myself).

I've only driven the Caterham so far, the handling and magic ride from that inboard suspension was sensational and only matched by the exhaust note!

There's also space for a holdall, not that practicality is top of the list, but it helps for that visit to Le Mans!

@thinfourth, why is that better than the CSR?

@flickers aren't they all? Why the Atom?

Should have added that I ride a ZZR14 so outright pace/acceleration are not the key requisites in the choice, I'm really interested in ownership experience, good and bad...any owners out there?

How about the BAC Mono

Personally I'd go for the Caterham because it's easily usable in all weathers, there are lots of owners events and it's adaptable to your needs (switchable windscreen/aeroscreen etc).

I'd pick a narrow body version though.

Unless you are a fat bd i always preferred the narrow 7 as you kind of wear it.

Its an entirely personnel thing

Don't forget there is also the lotus 211, road legal radicals and if you can find one the light car company Rocket which is close to my dream car

Not a huge problem, but something to think about is the exclusivity. If you have a Caterham etc you will se others, maybe not as good as yours or maybe better, plus you'll get the "yea I've got one of those" but really it's a dodgy Sierra kit kar.
Get an Atom and the chances of seeing another are slim, and the other thing I've never even seen.

They all ultimately achieve the same goal. driving

Yes, the exclusivity thing has occurred to me, there are lots of Caterham/Westfield look a likes (hope that isn't politically incorrect putting them together in the same sentence!) :-)

Caterham has wonderful owners club and interesting heritage. More soul than these uber track specials, better 2nd hand and parts Market when you sell it/fettle.

I'd have the CSR but I'm biased.

Although I'd go with d none of the above and get a Morgan... Possibly

I like them all smile the 3 wheeler is brilliant, my dad was sniffing round a showroom today and told me there's a 6ish month waiting list.

I agree with Others, narrow body caterham is the way to go.

R500 over a CSR260 and Atom out of the ones you've chosen. For a track toy it's got to be a caterham superlight 300/400/500 (300's cheaper and can quite easilly be made into a 500)
