Best Air Filter For A Cup 260 (2010)

I am looking at replacing the air filter on my Exige Cup 260, can anyone give me their reccommendations on the best one? I have looked at K&N, ITG Maxogen and BMC but don't know what is the best, has anyone got any info on this subject?? What air filter is fitted as standard?

If your car is like all other "tuner" cars out there then they are all the same and not much better than the stock one. Now if you are going for a full cold air intake then its a different discussion.

A change in filter will do nothing, CAI there are limited options, mainly due to the SC heating up anything that was cold - you're better off uprating the intercooler or going charge cooled on the Exige.

Standard filter is a standard Lotus part that is nothing special/bad either way.

If you want a bit more noise, look at the TRD (Toyato Racing Developments) air box, available from Lotus. Search in the lotus section or on SELOC
