Renewall time. Unfortunately, over the five years I have been driving, I have been subject to Three non-fault accidents, each of which were settled by the other party's insurance.
The problem is I can't remember the dates of them! How can I find out for sure when my accidents were?

Keep better records? Serious point I'm struggling to understand how you wouldn't have some paperwork trail?

You could ring your old insurance companies up or broker and ask them to look in your history file?

Do you use a comparison site for quotes, it might be saved when you log in and re-run last years quote.

or if this all happened over the last five years, your current insurance co should know as you told them last year, call them up.

I'm sure whoever you call for a quote will have access to this information.

A number of years ago I was involved in a non fault accident, and thought I didn't have to declare this to a prospective insurer, as there wasn't a claim against my insurance. During the quote the guy said there was another accident showing against my registration (cherished plate) from 2 years earlier. So it must be on an insurance data base if you can at least remember your registration numbers from previous cars??

Call up your current insurance company/broker who will be able to remind you what claims you have had with them, or claims you disclosed to them at the start of the policy. They should also be on your statement of Insurance if you have that to hand?

This is assuming you gave them all the correct claim details last year when you joined/renewed with them wink

It is a material fact, it must be declared smile (and/or frown ).
