The Alfa 8C,is it any good? I won't pretend I'm looking to buy one,as I can't afford one. But they've never appealed to me,they don't look anything special. I haven't really read/heard much of a review on them to know about them other than a part of a Clarkson dvd where he seemed unimpressed by them. What is it with them? Are they actually great cars? Why so expensive? Limited run? I've only ever seen one and that was at Bauer Millet, and it didn't wow me like Ferraris and Lambos do.
I considered a convertible for the Summer last year, but it made the Ford GT seem practical by comparison as there's hardly any storage space in them (only enough for a small briefcase). The coupe is better, although still not exactly spacious, but I wanted a soft top. They're pretty looking cars with a nicely made and comfortable interior, they're surprising high compared with most supercars though. I'm not sure how they're generally perceived as I was subsequently staying at a hotel for FOS, and in the morning everyone was gathered around the FGT whilst an 8C beside it was completely ignored. Their performance isn't exactly mind-blowing either so I think their price is purely based on the limited number produced. Ultimately I think I would have found one a bit of a let down.

Haha,ok "they don't look anything special to me,but can't appreciate that they would appeal to others" that better?
is it more of a collectors car? I.e die hard Alfa fans?
I'm not a die hard Alfa fan, I've never owned one though I would like to. I think the 8C is a stunning looking car, it has a depth of beauty that most modern supercars are simply missing.
