Lexus CT200h - What the hell?

Followed one of these today. I thought it was a Kia or Chevrolet at first but was horrified when I saw the Lexus badge. Makes a new 1 series look good.

Nope, I'd agree with that. Looks like they did the crash tests then decided the end result of the crash testing should be the final design. Horrid looking thing. We have a brown BMW X1 in at work ATM, looks lovely in comparison.

Yet today I was stopped in my tracks to see what this new good looking car was only to find it was a Hyundai i40 or something. It was like a good mix of a Mazda 6 and an Audi A4.

I'm somewhat confused by all of the Lexus hybrid range.

I really hope Saab can use hybrid tech to add grip (by making the 9-3 4wd) and punch in a comfortable car that does not have hard suspension and massive wheels.

I had the same thing when I first saw a new Kia Optima.
