Thinking about creating a car syndicate with 2-3 friends. We all have young families so have practical estates to shift kids and dogs, but was considering getting a couple of nice cars to share before we get too old.
2004 911 and 2003/2004 SL500 was my thinking and switching cars every 4-6 weeks. A friend and I shared a 911 previously and it worked really well. Whenever I got the car it was like getting it for the first time.
We'd need a syndicate agreement stating who pays what and how to get in and out of the syndicate I guess. Just not sure about insurance. I think you can have a max of five named drivers per car. Would we each insure one of the cars and then put the others on as named drivers? Would we have to change the address each time it moved to a different house?
Anyone else doing a similar thing out there? Any suggestions/advice welcome.

If you're thinking about 2 cars between 2-3 people that's at least 0.67 cars each, possibly 1 car each. Just buy yourself a nice car and save the hassle.

I'd like that kind of arrangement for a track car.

I'd love the SL500, but with a wife and three kids a two seater would be far too impractical. So I was thinking if I had it only for some of the time then I could put up with that.
