On the right car they are ok, wouldn't look good on a standard car.

It depends on many things, car, colour, cars style / look, stance etc...

Bright green wheels on say a black S14 Silvia would be fine but the same colour wheels on a standard Micra would be a no no.

Generally oot on this one, because it's generally so tastelessly done. stty old Polo? chop the springs and put blue steelies on it and it's "DUB", Yeah!!! rolleyes

There is a nice Seat Leon Cupra near me that is black with a green front badge and green wheels, looks pretty cool. When it's done right,it can look cool, but when it's done bad it's terrible.

Tend to agree with this and I'm one of the "DUB" boys...

My Golf GTI is black pearl and I have yellow wheels and badges. I think that look is pretty good, not to OTT.
