Tell me your experiences of turning something bad happening to you that has turned out to be a postive.

Maybe its my positive mental attitude but it seems to happen to me a lot

The one that sticks out the most, is losing my job for no fault of my own, but getting another job the very next day, from this job i have worked up to where i am now, doing job i love! I cant go into detail about what im doing now but i love it and i dought i would be here now if it wasnt for my old boss being an absolute tool and sacking me for no reason!

I look forward to hearing your storys!

Flunked my A-levels (didn't fail but with E grades I might as well have) because I knew I was moving onto an apprentiship and didn't need the A-Levels (so basically I put no effort in) ten years later (took four years out after finishing my HNC) I am well on the way to getting a 2:1 on my engineering degree studying part time and working full time biggrin

A friend of mine was banned from driving for 18months. He used to time to focus on his college work and save up from his part time job. By the time his ban was lifted her had £5k to spend on a nice car. Silver lining and all that smile

I got my face broken in a random attack a few years ago, but since the surgery the first time I blow my nose every morning produces the most fantastic snot castings the exact same shape as the insides of my nostrils. Very satisfying start to the day, in a disgusting picking-at-scabs kind of way.
