Just come back from a fair journey from Haslemere to Portsmouth to Gatwick and back to Haslemere, about 140 miles.

On 3 occasions in seperate parts of the country I've come across a mk5 golf doing at least 50 in a 30, all were in built up areas with pedestrians around, the last was in the pouring rain with his driving abilities being seriously questionable (jerking his way around a corner)

Am I to believe that they have a different high way code to follow? Or are they just a bunch of tools? 2 were 1.6 fsi's and the other a gti.

Any one else noticed this? I'm not normally one to moan but just thought it was a coincidence.

Every car type has good and bad drivers. We just don't remember the good drivers. You'll be getting like Clarkson in stereotyping drivers.

Take a chill pill; not worth getting worked up over.

Oh I'm not worrying my self, just thought it was odd the only bad driving I took any notice of was from the same type of car

The first golf even over took me and I let it slide, then watched him over take the car in front on a solid centre line, that did annoy me a little though! But still just let him get on with it, plonker hehe smile

I can't see any point to your post, I was just asking if mk5 golfs follow a different legal system to the rest of us, if you don't like tha then why waste your time replying?! ( or do you have a mk5 golf lurking in your garage? ) tongue out

OP - no, I personally don't believe that mk5 golf drivers follow a different highway code. Infact I'm not sure that an alternative exists.

I suspect it was nothing more than a coincidence.

That's where you are wrong. If you've never owned a MK5, you'll never have seen this:
