Just popped out to the car-park and saw a Peugeot with two St.George Cross flags attached to the rear windows. The first I've seen of this particular trend this football tournament.

It seems so 2006, where every car seemed to have them.

Have you seen many where you are? smile

Obviously if you're not in England your answers will differ slightly.

Mods, please keep this in the Lounge, it's about flags not football smile

Yeah, there were a fair few Union Flags round my village for the Jubilee too, and there still seems to be the odd bit of bunting as well.

Yesterday I saw a red Skoda Yeti with a flag on each window, one attached to the aerial and also with St George Cross, Union flag and Three Lion shields stuck on every panel with more than one on the bonnett.

Looked stupid.

I can see a shopping centre car park from my lounge and I presumed they were to show support for England during the footie, bizarre thing is the car park was filled with them when the footie was on the other night.

Spotted one this morning on the M4 between the Cardiff junctions.

Ugly old diesel Astra saloon, dark tinted windows, driving like a tt.

Not saying the two are related...

Loads and loads. Far too many to count. As ever popular with builder vans etc.

Chav tat.

But not so bad as the flags drapped out of upstairs windows of houses.

Saw loads of Union Jacks being flown for the Jubilee though which somehow was less chav, but mainly flown from flag poles... some people even managed to get them the right way up!

I've seen quite a few and like them. I suspect the people flying them are probably more fun to have a pint with than the snide chattering classes who deride simple pleasures like supporting your national team.

Yeah quite a few on family MPV's down here in Brighton. And those Mini style union jack wing-mirror covers.

They were on offer in Aldi or Lidl last week, along with the not-quite-official jerseys.
