Paint preparation
Discussion
I've just had my Chipex stone chip correction kit through the post, that I won at Caring With Cars. Very exciting, and I will report back on results.
Couple of questions though- my car has a nasty chip/gouge, not huge but looks like something hooked into the paint and it needs flattening. What should I use prior to the paint kit to flatten it? Talking very small scale, not sanding whole panels ;-)
Also, what's best to get the affected areas completely clean and ready for paint? I've applied a Kurust stone chip pen onto the affected areas but need to clean prior to painting.
Ta!
