My car has a black leather 'knob, and around the head the colour has started to fade and show the browny original cow colour (I presume it's that at least). Anyone able to recommend a product to colour it back in properly?

Really? But the car is outside... and I then I'd have to upload a pic to my photobucket...

Can't you just Google search for "discoloured knob"? wink

furnitureclinic.co.uk or any other leather company will sell you a dye kit , you scrubb down the old coating and basicly repaint it

Agreed. He may like the fast action to get to his destination quicker, but in the long run it damages vital bits underneath and takes the overall look of the (gear) knob.

I assume the same can be done to seats. My drivers seat has a worn area down the stitching on the door side.

Surprisingly nothing very smutty or useful comes up using that as a search term.

I've just bought a scuffmaster kit from liquidleather.com for the bolsters on a Clio 172 I've just bought.

It's not arrived yet but comes with instructions, the exact matches dye and some toners if it's not quite right.

Hopefully it's good.

I'd imagine something similar would work a treat on a knob.
