Harmless fun. Looks good if done right, but becoming a bit common/ dull (as most fads do).

Works on a beaten up drift car. Does not work on a shopping car attempting to be 'euro'

This. Has to be done properly as well with individual stickers not some rubbish Sticker Bombing sheet off ebay.

Hopefully it is just this years stupid fad and it will die a quick yet painful death!

What gets me is people trying to convince themselves and others that it is a cheap way to fix/cover up damage to panels yet then proceed to spend £20 or more on ste stickers when they could have gone to a parts store bought some filler/primer/paint for the same money and done a much better job.

I agree with DanDC5. It can look great on some cars but if they are generic stickers from eBay then it really isn't so good. biggrin

Do you have an example of it looking good on a car. I couldn't really see any that didn't look like chav tat.

i did this to my skateboard when I was 8. It looked really st but I had to cover up the even worse paint job I'd tried on it. hehe

I know it's an RC car, but this kind of real car it works on.

Is your question relating primarily to cars, or, as the hipsters amongst us would have it 'street furniture'?

I used to do that to my skateboards around 1998. Think that pretty much says it all really.
