tbh 'alloys' are s
t.
I see no benefit in them over steelies until very large amounts of money are handed over.
The cult of the alloy wheel has been sold to you good and proper, and unfortunately most of the british public has bought in to it. Bring back the steelie.
That's a different debate.

I'm just stating the car has been advertised and sold with a feature it does not have.

Is it one of those wheel types, where the wheel trim sits over the steel wheel spokes so the steel wheel can't be seen behind therefore given the illusion of alloys? Some Vauxhalls have them too.
Yes, I believe that to be the case. I'm almost certain of it.I sold a 2007 Focus C-Max Style last year which had sculptured wheels , they look very similar and that's why I've tried to encourage him to check.

If by sculptured wheels you mean steel wheels then I guess that's pretty easy to tell nowaways? I don't believe many manufacturers even use steel wheels anymore unless it's on the most basic models. Most "sculptured wheels" comes with plastic wheel covers to disguise them.I'm just stating the car has been advertised and sold with a feature it does not have.
