For me, it has to be this in front of me at a junction:

...because I know I'll be sat there for the next 5 minutes whilst gaps big enough for an 18-wheeler to pull out will come and go. Say what you like about prejudices, but it's the one car-stereotype that (for me at least) is proven correct, time and time again.

Picasso and Micra drivers.

Nothing else on the road is as bad.

I was looking at the picture without reading below, trying to work out why you hated being behind a car with a BJ reg biggrin

For me it's mostly oil pressure/temp or water temp gauges.

The red oil-light of death. Or the oil pressure gauge which drops 5psi for every mile driven. Followed by a rattle like a dalek having a wk in a dustbin.

Renault Megané Scenics. I avoid them because I assume it's driver doesn't have a clue. Usually I'm right.

Saw a brand spanking new Clio 200 Cup Renaultsport the other day. Recaros, the works! Was parked just behind my work car. The owner walked along fag in hand, jumped into the car and smoking away.

I'm a smoker and don't mind smoking in cars. But a brand new car.. It just ain't right!
