So who's bought a bona-fide bargain?

Just curious to know who out there has successfully managed to bag a genuine bargain? I am always trawling the classifieds in the hope of spotting a gem being sold by some unsuspecting soul who doesn't know a great deal about cars.....maybe they inherited it or something.

I used to buy and sell records and I quite often would pay a couple of quid for a record that was worth ten if not a hundred times what I paid for it at boot fairs.

Anyone got lucky? I mean really lucky, not a couple of hundred quid below the book price!

I bought a Renaultsport megane at a bargain price from a garage in Harrogate that sold top end cars. Ran it for about 8 months and sold it to a dealer at a £600 profit. About the best bargain/money making I've done on a car

I bought my 54 plate ML55 for £4001.23 as a repo off Ebay. Had it a year and it's ace - other than being covered in sand today!!
