Am i being ripped off?

Hi all
Investing in a new head unit (pioneer double din) and just as i go to buy it the lad says "have you already got the facia kit" iv got a fabia vrs mkii does anyone know if this kit is needed? Its £50 and dont want to spend it unless vital

The fascia kit is cosmetic, it blends the aftermarket headunit in with the dash, 50 sheets is friggin dear though is have a quick look on fleabay

I wasnt too sure of the one off my standard radio would fit or not as its similar to the one being sold, thats exactly what i though... 10-15 i could immagine
