First BMW that's appealed to me in a long time as I'm considering replacing my Mazda 6 MPS daily hack.

There's only ever me in it really so space isn't an issue - what's the PH opinion?

You mean the new (5-door) one or the old (2-door)?

Ah, not driven one then.

Horrifically ugly looking thing, but it does look quite good value.

Reviews in Evo and Autocar today. Both very favourable.

I'm interested! Maybe a more-sensible-but-still-fun replacement for the M3 next year...

Wow, at £31.5k why would anyone consider a 30k Golf?

Looks quite a bit better with the M bodykit than non-M. Why would anyone get a 30k golf indeed!

I love the fact that there is the M135i, and the M135i M-Sport.

How many "M"s can they fit in a name? biggrin

It's a bit of joke alright. The funny thing is, the plain Jane model might be the best alrounder.

I just did a price (not that i can afford one)

Added, auto, sun protect glass, DAB, Harmon Kardon, heated seats and parking sensors. 34k.

(oh and £500 for clown heart grey!)

Only 34k, I'm presuming you went very easy on the options?

It's the bootlid badge brigade that worry me, instead of the M badge or the cheeky M3 badge, it will now be an MM badge. Lordy.

I don't think I'd want any of the options except for orange paint. I'd be a bit miffed at having to pay to have a choice of paint colour, though.

Good luck finding a manufacturer in that sector that unless you want flat white or flat black you don't have to pay extra. Hardly anything new or surprising TBH.

No need to presume John, just read his post. smile

What did you add to get it to £40K? Or was it just a case of "tick every box and see how expensive I can make it" wink
