If the m'way speed limit changes will you change your speed

Simple yes or no? Will you drive any faster on a Motorway if the law allows, if you don't already add a few mph onto the 70 limit. If you already speed, I guess it'll make no difference or will you go faster as you feel you have a greater margin for getting caught?

don't think this has been polled yet, and I'm genuinly interested to see the results. I'm fairly certain the answer will be pretty weighted, but to which way I won't say.

No. I drive at around 60-65mph right now and have no intention of changing. It's comfortable and doesn't use too much fuel.

If I'm legally allowed to drive faster than 70mph then I will, but only if conditions permit and I feel like it.

yes, motorways are about getting from A to B as quick as possible. Few quid of extra fuel is no concern.

No because my car has a top speed of 84mph. If I tried to cruise at 80 there'd be so much smoke, steam and noise literally everyone I passed would call the anti-terrorist squad.

I drive a 60 most of the time due to road noise in the teg. Have the odd foray into higher figures but probably count them on one hand in the past month! So to answer, no. Would make no diff.

I drive with regard to the prevailing conditions, using my brain in conjunction with my right accordingly. This won't change.

Yes, I will be able to legally hit the top of the third gear (just) and enjoy some glorious VTEC noise while I'm at it, so I will be driving faster. I don't spend all that much time on dual carriageways, so a few extra quid on fuel is not a concern to me.

If conditions are good and I am in a hurry then yes I have no problems going faster. I would happily sit at 100mph in the TVR if it were legal.

No. I used to cruise at just below 100, now I cruise at 80, it's too expensive in fuel to go faster these days.

Won't drive any faster no, I already drive however fast I like, whatever I feel is safe and unlikely to get me too many speeding tickets. So that won't change.

I expected this tbh, I wouldn't change how I drive. I drive at 70ish atm not because it's the law but thats where by car feels comfortable. Any faster and it's buzzing at >4000 RPM. If I had a car that would sit comfortbly at 80-90, I would probably drive faster conditions providing.

I think many people will have to adjust their speed to slow down. I suspect 80mph will be enforced more than 70, this is why I feel they should leave it as it is.
