New daily workhorse required. Laguna?

Morning all,

I'm after a new daily hack and have come across a 2007 Renault Laguna. The ad reads:

Now, i know it's not very PH but this is just to get me to work every day and ferry the family about.

Will go see it this afternoon but was looking for some pointers on what to look for.

Check the rear brakes, replacing them is a bizarre affair which involves changing the hubs or other such nonsense.
