Short Term Insurance - Free 7 Day

All,

I require some short term insurance for a car which I own, and my eye has been caught by the 7 day free insurance schemes. These scheme's however seem to be a huge pain to set-up, and with some, you must pay for a HPI check before insurance can be discussed.

I'd be interested to hear about your experience if you have used one of these companies previously.

I tried to get cover before but would only cover cars up to group 15.

The HPI offer is only for buying a car and there are lots of exclusions ( like age, hi performance, already in your name etc)

I assume that is 15/20 rather than 15/50?
