I tried the EVO one , but it was thinly populated and the people there on the few occasions I posted seemed to be half-whits, which I found surprising.

Are there any fora other than PH?

Or is PH a sort of insular state, where other places simply do not exist? A bit like Kentucky, USA..

I used to post on the EVO forum, but apart from the occasional thread about cars for the sake of winning a watch ("thread of the month" used to get a few posts printed in the mag and the OP got a watch), there seemed to be precious little discussion about cars.

My Dads from Kentucky, his Mrs has lived her whole life in Kentucky bar in-advertantly crossing into Tennesee once when a passenger in a car, she said to me shes made it to 62 so whats the point of leaving the state now!

Don't know about the forum but Car magazine's site is inhabited by wannabe Setrights and failed designers all yapping about "surfacing" and "resolved" forms... Bunch of utter pretentious tw@ts.

Other place is some thread on here somewhere, other other is a secret facebook group. Which isn't as secret now.

That's not really a car forum, there are a few car related thread on there but it's mostly about news / films / life.

There are many marque specific forums, but few general ones like here. Some American ones I suppose, Jalopnik.com is one of the more active ones.

It mostly seems to be pictures of car interiors, a bit like the barge thread.

The EVO forum tends to talk about everything and anything simply because it's much smaller! It is more general conversation than merely about cars or the car industry.

As for the posters on EVO forum being half 'whits', you do realise that you've posted on Pistonheads which, at times, is troll central.
