New Stereo Head unit wont stay in
Discussion
Hey guys,
Picked up a new (to me) car the other week and just replaced the head unit for it to something a bit more modern. I replaced the cage and slotted the head unit back in but it wont connect to the cage no matter how far back I push it.
Any ideas? Do I need to use the keys to put the head unit in or are they only used for taking it out?
Cheers for any help

Nah, as long as the lip is at the front you'll be fine. The likelihood is that when you took the new cage off the new radio, you bent the retaining clips out to remove it and didn't bend them back out into the cage when you fitted the radio.
Just take the radio out, bend the two long clips back so they are inside the cage, then push the radio back in - it should then engage and click into place
