Another insurance question
Discussion
I've owned my car for a year now and after a service and MOT, I realised that I've only done 7,000 miles in it.
Probably a stupid question but will it make a difference if I call my insurance company up and tell them that I'm doing < 8k a year? I declared the average mileage of 10 to 12k.
A shorter commute, using pool cars at work for business and the fact my partner tends to stay at mine rather than me driving to her means I'm now doing a fair but less than I was.
It's nice to know that currently, if I fancy a few long trips I won't be at risk of going over what I stated but does it actually make it significantly cheaper?
