Not much action in the classic mini forums so:

This car isn't far from me but I don't know enough to make an informed decision. I like the fact
that it's mot'd and I don't mind the looks, which could be improved instantly with some minilites or revolutions. It's been pointed out that an Iva test may be needed. As this has an M.o.t. as does the spaceframed Mog featured the other day is it easy to just ignore an Iva?

Looks like too much money for what it is to me but I have no idea what better versions go for. Not my cup of tea, prefer more traditional looks and mechanicals, however problematic they might be.

Depends what you want to do with it.

It looks like one of those 99% complete projects, i.e. they could not finish it because they ran out of time/skill/money etc. the last 1% normally is the hardest.

But it does look well made but scruffy around the edges.

For a car to play around with at the weekends, it looks good.
For a daily...you would have to sink a lot of time or money into getting niggles sorted.

That's what I had in mind. Final tinkering to get things right. The front end is gash, it would look much better standard, chrome grill with flared arches and 13" wheels. The paint don't look to clever either.

All I can suggest is NO.

Plus If it hasn't got an IVA/SVA or whatever it's called these days, then it should. Whatever points system you want to use I'm fairly sure it adds up with that chassis, engine, and all the other mad changes.
