My wife's Fiat 500 is due replacement tyres, the OE Bridgestones have done an admirable 27000 miles but they time really has come to replace them.

With a move to North Yorkshire imminent and a need to keep moving through the winter I though all seasons may be worth a punt, Kleber Qaudraxers are going for £57 a corner which is not a bad price.

Are they the best of both worlds or the worst of both?

If it is snow you're thinking of then I personally wouldn't as they won't perform to the same level as snow tyres will whih I use as my winters. Nankang snow SV2 have impressed me both in terms of performance in snow and price if you buy at this time of year.

The Kleber tyre seems to get decent reviews

I'd be happy with them.

Not looking for them to deal with massive snowfalls, rather to cope with typical frosty, occasionally snowy conditions that we 'usually' get.

I ran some Vredestein Quatrac 3 last year and they were good in the cold and reasonable in the warm. Would suit something like a 500, but nothing that gets driven hard as they get a bit squealy in better weather.
