New Exhaust....This Easy to Fix?

Hi guys,

Posted this in my thread in Readers Cars but thought I would also open it up to you all.

Got a new Janspeed back box for my MG and it looks like the post service didn't take a fancy to it and the lip has been dented. Its around 1mm thick stainless steel. Any way to bend it out easily?

Block of wood underneath it (shiny side down), ballpeen hammer on the inside and tease it out that way.

Can't you send it back for replacement?

What ever you try and do, it will never look "right".

take it to your local exhaust place, they have a shaped lump of steel that will make it round again (In a previous life I worked at one of these places and nearly all cheap exhaust pieces came in oval!!)
