Hehe I've done the same with my lad of two. I am currently trying to teach him to distinguish between the sound of petrol and diesel engines.

Absolutely not!!!!

My lad is nearly 9 & has "driven" every car I've owned since he was born.

His crowning glory was driving the Landy round the field on his own with me jogging alongside.

ETA. Top truck, OP thumbup

Couple of years ago I taught my then 6 yr old and 3 yr old how to do donuts in a large, damp campsite with lots of room, in an E39 M5. They did the steering and I did the power.

They did so well we made them certificates up, which they still have and I hope they still will when one or the other wins their first Grand Prix!!

Have a vid somewhere I think, will have to dig it out....

Eh? Lewis is the man! Fast, exciting, prone to letting agression into his driving, and a PR man's nightmare after a bad race!

Love him biggrin

When he's able to drive by himself all he'll need to know is the hum of an electric motor.

Wow. I fully expected that to last more than 2 posts, but yes you are correct!

It belonged to my grandfather who said its one of his favourite cars ever but in the end traded it in for a Saab 9000 as the Opel had persistent and seemingly incurable electrical faults, despite being only a couple of years old and still under warranty at the time.
