Upgrading H7 headlight bulb

Hello all,

I am searching for a pair of new H7 headlight bulbs as I'm not too keen on the standard bulbs. Theyre just not bright enough and have been properly adjusted too.

So, which bulbs would you guys recommend? Looking at the higher power/brighter options from Philips and Halfords. Any first hand experience with them?

I was considering Ring or Osram but apparently, they dont always last as long due to the heat they generate.... and over time, the brightness seems to fade :s

Oh and its for a 2001 Mk4 Golf TDi.

Had the original nighbreakers in one of mine for years.

A mate has the ring 120%, they are better

eBay, Osram Nightbreakers.

Had a Celica 190 with the fancy-shaped headlights which are actually incredibly crap at giving off any form of light, fitted the above and it worked a charm...

I got a pair of Osram Nightbreaker plus for the Defender and it transformed the headlights from totally st to just st, so a definite improvement and worth the £13 they cost.
