Cayenne v E55 AMG estate

Chaps, thinking of going from a v6 cayenne to a e55 amg estate, from what I can see mpg will be the same, size the same and boot size The same BUT performance will be a hell of a lot better.

Thing is cayenne has been completely trouble free, would I be stepping into troubled waters with the merc?

Btw both are 2004 car with same mileage, merc is £3K more

If you have the means to buy an E55 AMG, do it. You will not regret it. The Cayenne would be gutless and bland in comparison.
