If this thing goes we will be travelling silence, and if we add the 40 MPH speed limits proposal driving will be like attending a funeral for mimes.
Well, there goes my GT3RS.........

At what road speed? After about 50mph there's more tyre noise than anything...

Why oh why do they no start clamping down on the SH**head chavs with the idiotical exhausts on their stupid Shatsos and Corsas, why they think it sounds good I have no idea, when will they learn you cant make a weazy sub 2.0 four pot sound like a racing car by putting a ludicrous exhaust on it. Low noise is a good thing and a quiet car is something I have always strived for even from my first car.

I do agree with Codswallop though the best thing the EU can do is die a very nasty death, and very soon if possible.

What do you mean? I dont agree with this ruling I think my post may have been misconstrued. If they
want to clamp down on noise stop these MOORONS.

They're talking about noise level standards for new cars, not about modifications to current ones. This regulation won't stop the chavs in stroens putting a silly exhaust on their car.

I know it wont, but if they insist on quietning down motors start with the TAT already out there.
