Saab 95 Aero - What do we think?
Discussion
I have recently accepted a job which involves me commuting 24k a year.
So, I think its time to upgrade from the Puma to something a little more grown up.
Which brings me to the Saab, I have always liked them and I know that the Aero is a well respected car.
I did consider a S60 T5 but I'm drawn to the Saab.
I have come across a MINT one with 115k miles and a full Saab service history.

I will be converting LPG straight away too.
Opinions please.

It will cost €1100 and there are 3 on my route to and from work.
80c a litre, I calculate that it would take 6 months to pay for itself.
I have looked into Diesels but for the cash i have to spend I cant find a nice enough luxury car that does not have either A) Intergalactic miles, or B) Bad condition.

24k miles a year in Ireland? - that's going to be bloody painful.
Is there any massive tax implication in importing one from the UK? - because I suspect they're significantly cheaper over here.
Amazing cars - get the latest you can afford, as I recall power levels rose over the years.
Its a pretty straight forward journey fortunately. Is there any massive tax implication in importing one from the UK? - because I suspect they're significantly cheaper over here.

Sadly, importing is out of the question due to VRT which is typically 38% of the market value.
