Can anybody please tell me what this sticker is as no-one seems to know. It's on an 11 plate Polo and even VW themselves don't seem to know...

Lol, thanks for the suggestions...

It came attached to the windscreen when I bought the car and I've seen it on other models and manufacturers too.

I'm thinking it's some European green credential guff.

That's the Dr. Suess Hand club.

It makes more sense if you see it with a tray of green eggs and ham.

Actually, I have no idea.

One of the gym chains has something similar to that to allow their members to use the car parks.

It's plainly a duck with it's wings on the downstroke and its head forced vertical and acts as a warning to wildfowl about flying into glass windscreens.

I reckon its probably an airlines logo, as to which one, I have no idea!

Either that or a local car dealers logo..

Thanks for the general lol-age laugh but this has been fitted as o.e. by the manufacturer and also appears on a large number of other new cars on the road.

I bought the 11-plate Polo from a main dealer and all other cars in the showroom also had one. I contacted VW a while ago and they didn't have a clue...

As you look at the front of the car it's in the lower left hand corner of the windscreen.

Have a look next time you see a new car...
