"13" Plate cars.
Discussion
I assume these will be issued but I wonder how many superstitious people will put off purchasing for 6 months.
It wouldn't bother me, but superstition extends to some pretty big organisations. Someone told me there is no number 13 dock at one of the navy's dockyards. Its called the Old Dock instead.
Staying with the navy there is no warship with the number F232, because that is the form you fill in when one sinks.
I knew a woman who told me green cars were unlucky.
8 is lucky in some cultures and that is why, a guy I met from Airbus told me they called their new plane the A380.
I know the DVLA didn't issue Scottish numbers SN07 because it looks like SNOT, so if they can withold numbers for trivial things like that, will they issue the "unlucky" 13?
Its all b
ks to me, but there are superstitious folk and cultures out there.

As a result, they are looking at possible alternatives (131) being one of them, and may also then be used to start bi-annual registrations like we have here. Quite a big thing for the ROI, where at present, 70% of all new cars are registered between January and March
