a couple of weeks ago the local police-force had one of their saturation camera van sessions; whilst this does not bother me in the least the following does. Upwards of 20 motorists were given a roadside warning for" improper use of headlights". IE they had been flashing other motorists a warning about a static camera van. the police had an unmarked car 200m away from the van and pulled in anyone flashing headlights as a warning. discuss.

The police have little respect as it is and this type of thing doesn't help their cause.

At least they only gave warnings.
Hasn't some forces charged drivers with attempting to pervert the course of justice for warning other drivers?

seems like a good use of headlights to me, can you not use them to warn drivers of hazards in the road?

I must admit I don't warn other drivers unless the fuzz are being really sneaky in how they hide themselves

Hmmm especially after the one that smashed up the VW in Mancheter got let off recently and then the one yesterday also walked free despite his history showing he is truly a nasty piece of work. Then when you need them theyre too busy. Then they wonder why they have such low public respect.

If it was a boardgame, it would be called cheating. But they will have an exemption for that.

You must remember, its becoming clear they have an exemption for everything.
